Order Beef Online

Grass Fed Atherton Tablelands beef direct to your door

When you order beef online with us it will always be...

  • 100% grass-fed and grass-finished

  • Hormone-free

  • Bovaer and Rumin8-free

  • MRNA-free

  • Ethically raised with transparency about treatments

Things that vary between each animal are:

  • Standard industry vaccinations

  • Pour on treatments or drenches (usually ivermectin based)

  • Antibiotics

  • Anti-inflammatories

It can sometimes be tricky to source animals that haven’t received any of these treatments (we do our best though) and ultimately any farmers we work with (ourselves included) will put the health of the animal first.

Our aim is always to be as transparent as possible with you, our customers, so you can make an informed choice about the meat that you buy. That’s why each order round will outline any treatments the individual animals have received.

All withholding periods are strictly adhered to with any treatment.

FAQS

Got questions? We’ve got answers.

Ordering, Payment & Delivery

  • I’m outside your delivery areas but still in Far North Queensland, how can I order?

Due to time constraints and transportation costs, we do stick to our delivery areas however, if you are able to gather enough interest in your local area to make it worthwhile to make the trip then we are happy to consider it.  Get in touch to discuss how this might work.

  • How do I pay?

Payment is via our online order system with credit card, paypal, apple pay, direct deposit.  Full payment is required at the time of ordering.

  • What does delivery cost?

Within our standard delivery areas, we charge a flat rate of $15 per order for delivery.

  • What if I can’t be home on the delivery date?

It is imperative that someone is home to receive your delivery as we cannot leave any meat due to food safety requirements.  If you have already ordered and something comes up, please let us know ASAP before your delivery time so we can work with you to make alternative arrangements.

  • What is your return policy?

For food safety reasons, we are unable to take returns of beef.  If for some reason you are not satisfied with your order, please contact us directly and we will do our best to come to a suitable resolution.

Life of the cattle

  • What kind of life do the cattle have?

We are very selective on the farmers we choose to partner with to ensure that the cattle are raised ethically and have had the best possible life on grass the way nature intended.  After all, happy cows make tastier beef!

  • Are the cattle fed grain?

No.  All the cattle are completely grass fed and grass finished.

  • Are the cattle raised locally?

They sure are!  All the cattle are raised right here on the Atherton Tablelands.

Processing & Final Product

  • Are the cattle slaughtered and processed on the farm?

As much as we would love to say “yes”, it is unfortunately Queensland law that meat is not allowed to be sold or even given away unless it has been processed at a licensed processing facility (aka an abbatoir).  We do however use the best legal option available which is to send the cattle to a locally owned abbatoir located in Tolga on the Atherton Tablelands.

  • How long is the beef hung for?

Unless otherwise specified, the beef is hung for 7-10 days to ensure the meat is nice and tender.

  • How is the beef packaged?

All our beef has been sealed in cryovac packaging and sorted into boxes in accordance with your order.
